Risks associated with transactions in virtual assets

Transactions with virtual assets involve heightened risk, including the risk of losing all of your funds. Please read this disclosure carefully before carrying out a transaction. ОсОО «Маней Шоп» is not an investment adviser and does not give individual investment advice.

1. Market risk

  • The value of virtual assets may change significantly over a short period of time, including while a transaction is being agreed and performed.
  • Past movements of the rate are not a guarantee of future results. No one guarantees any return on a transaction.

2. Technology risks

  • Transfers in blockchain networks are irreversible. Sending funds to an incorrect address or on an unsupported network as a rule results in their irrecoverable loss.
  • Delays in confirmations, network congestion, increases in network fees, forks and protocol failures are possible.
  • The loss of access to a wallet, a private key or a seed phrase means the loss of the funds. The Company does not keep the keys of its clients and cannot restore them.

3. Compliance risks

  • A transaction may be suspended or rejected if it shows signs of being suspicious, and also if the client does not complete identification.
  • Funds received from addresses connected with unlawful activity, sanctions regimes or high-risk services may be blocked in accordance with the law and the requirements of counterparties.
  • A bank or a payment service may request additional documents or refuse to carry out settlements under its own procedures.

4. Regulatory and tax risks

  • The legislation on virtual assets may change, including as regards permitted transactions, limits and reporting.
  • The client independently determines and fulfills the tax obligations arising in connection with transactions with virtual assets.

5. Risk of fraud

  • Schemes are widespread in which the victim is promised a high income and asked to transfer cryptocurrency to an “external” wallet. Such transfers cannot be recovered.
  • Check the contacts: we use only the contacts published on this website. We do not write first with offers of earnings.
  • We never ask for confirmation codes, passwords, seed phrases or access to your device.

6. Absence of guarantees and insurance

  • Virtual assets are not legal tender of the Kyrgyz Republic, are not backed by the state and are not covered by the bank deposit protection system.
  • Carry out transactions only for amounts the loss of which would not materially worsen your financial position.

7. Acknowledgment by the client

  • By carrying out a transaction, the client confirms that they have read this disclosure, that they understand the risks listed above and that they accept them.
